Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 21, 2026

At Broad View Digest, LLC (“Broad View Digest,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we believe your personal data deserves the same care we bring to the wellness, health and beauty topics we cover. This policy explains what information we gather through broadviewdigest.com and any related sites we operate, why we gather it, and how you stay in control of it. We handle personal information in line with applicable privacy laws and regulations.

What We Collect

We collect two kinds of information. The first is what you choose to share with us, for example when you subscribe to our newsletter, download a guide, enter a giveaway, answer a reader survey, or send us a message. The second is what your browser or device transmits automatically while you read our content.

When you sign up for email content, we ask for your email address and may also ask for your name and record your IP address. Some features, such as personalized routines, product picks, or future text alerts, may require extra details like a mobile number. Sharing this information is always optional; you simply won’t be able to use the features that depend on it.

Depending on how you interact with us, the personal information we hold may include your name, email address, phone or mobile number, and device or browser identifiers (sometimes called “online fingerprints”).

A note on health information: We do not ask for, and do not want, medical records, diagnoses, prescriptions, or other sensitive health details. Please avoid including this kind of information in comments, survey answers, or messages to us.

Automatically Collected Data

When you visit, our servers may record standard technical information sent by your browser, including your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you view, the date and time of each visit, how long you spend on each page, and any errors you run into. On its own, this data usually doesn’t identify you, but combined with other information it could.

Advertising Partners and Behavioral Ads

We allow selected advertising partners to collect information during your visit. They may use cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar tools to track activity on our site and others in order to show you ads they believe match your interests, such as skincare, fitness, or nutrition products. To learn more about interest-based advertising or to opt out, visit the Digital Advertising Alliance, the Network Advertising Initiative, or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Affiliate Links

Some of our articles include affiliate links to beauty, wellness, and fitness products. If you buy something through one of these links, we may earn a commission at no added cost to you. The retailer may place a cookie to record the referral. Commissions never decide what we recommend.

Why We Use Your Information

We process personal information only when we have a legitimate reason, and we limit collection to what’s reasonably needed. We may collect information when you:

  • Subscribe to updates by email or social media
  • Browse our content on any device
  • Contact us through email, social media, or similar channels
  • Mention or tag us on social platforms

We use that information to:

  • Communicate with you and reply to your messages
  • Run analytics and research that help us improve our articles, website, apps, and social channels
  • Market to you, including news about our content and offers from partners we think you may find useful

We won’t use your information in ways that conflict with these purposes. We may also combine what we collect with general research or audience data from reputable sources.

Sharing Your Information

We may share personal information with:

  • Our parent company, subsidiaries, or affiliates
  • Service providers that help us operate, such as hosting, data storage, IT support, email delivery, analytics, and advertising platforms
  • Our staff, contractors, and related entities
  • Current or prospective business partners and agents
  • Sponsors or co-hosts of giveaways and promotions we run
  • Third parties that help us deliver content, products, services, or marketing to you
  • Courts, regulators, or law enforcement when the law requires it, or when needed to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights

International Transfers

Your information may be stored or processed wherever we or our partners and service providers operate. Some of those locations may have different data protection laws than where you live. When we transfer data internationally, we do so in line with applicable law and continue to protect it as this policy describes.

How We Protect Your Data

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or changes. Even so, no system for storing or sending data online is completely secure, and we can’t promise absolute protection. If a data breach occurs, we will respond as required by applicable law. Where our services involve a password, you’re responsible for choosing a strong one and keeping it private.

How Long We Keep It

We hold personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here. Once it’s no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it so it can’t be linked to you. We may keep some information longer where required for legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, or for archiving, research, or statistical purposes.

Your Rights and Choices

You can always decline to share personal information with us, though some parts of the site may not work the same way. We will never treat you unfairly for exercising your privacy rights. If you do share information, you agree that we may collect, store, use, and disclose it as this policy explains.

You may ask what personal information we hold about you at any time. If you think any of it is wrong, outdated, incomplete, or misleading, let us know and we’ll take reasonable steps to correct it. If you previously agreed to receive marketing, you can change your mind whenever you like by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. To protect your account, we may ask for some details to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

If we receive information about you from someone else, we protect it the same way. If you give us information about another person, you confirm you have their permission to do so.

If you believe we’ve breached a data protection law, contact us with the details. We’ll look into it promptly and reply in writing with our findings and any steps we’ll take. You also have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies

Cookies are small data files our site stores on your device and reads on later visits. We use them to understand how readers move through the site, remember your preferences, and show you content that fits your interests. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work properly without them.

Children’s Privacy

Broad View Digest is written for adults. We don’t direct our content or services at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us and we’ll delete it.

Health and Wellness Disclaimer

Our content is for general information and inspiration only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment from a qualified professional. Talk to a healthcare provider before changing your diet, exercise, skincare, supplement, or medication routine.

External Links

Our articles may link to websites we don’t operate, including retailers, brands, and research sources. We aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please review their policies separately.

Updates to This Policy

We may revise this policy to reflect changes in how we operate, industry practices, or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted at this same address with a new effective date. Where the law requires it, we’ll ask for your consent or give you the option to opt in or out of new uses of your information.
